A head contractor or client has asked your business to provide data through Catchment. Here is what the request covers, what to have ready and how long it takes.
One set of details, reused on every project you work on.
An onboarding request asks your business to confirm who you are, what you are certified for and what you are insured to do. The project it belongs to has obligations attached - social procurement targets, local content rules, environmental limits or governance requirements - and your details determine which of them apply to your packages.
Once your business profile exists it stays with you. The next contractor that invites you reuses the same profile, so you confirm what has changed instead of starting again.
Business details
ABN, trading name, registered address and the person who will own reporting.
Certifications
Social enterprise, Indigenous business, disability enterprise or local supplier status, with the certifying body.
Insurances and licences
Current certificates of currency and any trade licences, with their expiry dates.
Workforce
How you record hours, and who signs off the numbers each month.
Open the invitation
The request arrives by email from the contractor running the project. The link takes you straight to their project, so you never have to work out which one it belongs to.
Complete your profile
Confirm your business details, upload certifications and insurances, and nominate who reports each month. Most trade partners finish inside 20 minutes.
Report against what applies
Only the requirements attached to your packages show up. Hours, spend and evidence go in once and consolidate up to the project without a spreadsheet in between.

Common questions.
We already report on another project. Do we start again?+
No. Your business profile carries across projects. A new request asks you to confirm what has changed and to accept the requirements specific to that project.
Who sees our certifications and insurances?+
The project team that invited you. Documents are held against your business profile with their expiry dates tracked, so you are asked for a renewal before a certificate lapses rather than after.
What if we don’t hold a certification the project asks about?+
Answer honestly and leave it blank. Certification status affects how your spend is counted, not whether you can report. The project team can see what applies to your packages and what does not.
Where is our data held?+
In Australia. Access is role based, so people see the projects and packages they are attached to.
