Vestas: Powering Australia’s Renewable Energy Future joins Catchment

Vestas is the world’s leading wind energy company - installing and maintaining wind farms across Australia as the nation accelerates its transition to clean energy.

Taylor Jenkins, Catchment

Vestas is the world's leading wind energy company - designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing wind turbines across more than 80 countries and delivering more installed wind power globally than any other company in history.

In Australia, Vestas has been central to the nation's renewable energy build-out - installing and maintaining wind farms across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, and beyond. As Australia accelerates its energy transition, Vestas brings the global expertise, local knowledge, and supply chain capability to deliver projects at the scale and pace the country's climate targets demand.

Vestas is currently delivering two of Victoria and South Australia's most significant wind energy projects. The Delburn Wind Farm in Victoria's Latrobe Valley is bringing clean energy generation to a region historically defined by coal - delivered on behalf of the State Electricity Commission as part of its commitment to regional energy transition. In South Australia, Vestas is delivering the Palmer Wind Farm - a 288 MW project in the Adelaide Hills on behalf of Tilt Renewables, one of the most powerful wind projects Australia has seen to date. At 288 MW, Palmer will generate enough clean electricity to power hundreds of thousands of South Australian homes.

The company is using Catchment to help with supply chain reporting, workforce compliance, and local content tracking across their Australian project portfolio - delivering structured, audit-ready outputs for the State Electricity Commission, Tilt Renewables, and other principals throughout construction and commissioning.
